New OPM Hiring Policy for Military Spouses
Military spouses now have expanded access to federal employment opportunities under a new Office of Personnel Management (OPM) hiring policy. The policy allows agencies to appoint eligible military spouses to temporary, term, or permanent civil service positions. To qualify, spouses must be currently married to an active-duty or injured service member at the time of appointment.
