School Age Care

The School Age Care (SAC) program at NAWS China Lake provides a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Designed to support military, civilian, and contractor families, SAC offers before and after school care, enrichment activities, and youth development programs that promote confidence, creativity, and academic success.

As a Boys & Girls Club of America affiliate and active 4H partner, the program blends nationally recognized youth development models with hands-on learning and daily enrichment. SAC is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), ensuring high standards in safety, programming, and staff training.

Families seeking care can request placement through MilitaryChildCare.com. Optional parent orientations are available for those who want to learn more about the program.
