Child Development Center

The Child Development Center at NAWS China Lake provides high-quality early childhood care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our program offers a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where children learn through play, exploration, and positive social interaction.

All Navy Child Development Centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nationally recognized standard for excellence in early childhood education. NAEYC accreditation ensures that our curriculum, staff qualifications, health and safety practices, and learning environments meet rigorous, research-based standards designed to support each child’s growth and development.
