Housing Service Center (HSC)

The Housing Service Center provides guidance and resources to help you find the right housing option at NAWS China Lake. Staffed by trained housing professionals, the HSC supports Military Family Housing, Unaccompanied Housing, and community rentals in the Ridgecrest area.

Community Housing Support

The HSC maintains a current database of off-base rental homes, apartments, and townhomes. All listings are inspected for suitability by housing referral staff. Additional tools and resources are available on the Community Housing page for those exploring local rental or home-buying options.

HEAT is available to all service members and spouses and connects you directly with your destination installation. A housing specialist will follow up within two business days.

Property Managers & Owners

To list or update a rental property with Navy Housing, complete the referral form and email it to ChinaLake_housing@us.navy.mil.

Additional Assistance

Once you secure housing in the community, the HSC can review your lease, provide home-buying guidance, and assist with landlord-tenant concerns. For support, call 760-939-4450.
