What Is Virtual Clinical Counseling?
Virtual clinical counseling connects clients with FFSC clinicians through secure video conferencing. This service provides the same non-medical, supportive counseling offered in person, with the convenience of meeting from home or another private location.
Safety & Privacy
Client safety and confidentiality are top priorities. Before counseling begins, providers review informed consent, explain how virtual services work, and discuss potential risks and benefits. Counselors complete an initial assessment to ensure virtual counseling is appropriate and safe for each client.
Who Provides Counseling?
Counseling is conducted by highly trained FFSC clinical professionals. Providers establish clear boundaries and safety procedures, including:
- Contingency plans in case of technical issues
- Emergency management planning and review
