Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life (SAIL)

SAIL provides ongoing support for service members who have experienced a suicide-related behavior. The program ensures continuous caring contact during the first 90 days following an incident, helping Sailors stay connected to resources, complete risk assessments, and develop safety plans. SAIL is not therapy and does not replace medical or chaplain care—it complements those services by ensuring no Sailor falls through the cracks.
